Composer/Lyricist:
Brett is an award-winning composer and lyricist. His musical Foreverman premiered at the New York Musical Festival where it won awards for Outstanding Orchestrations and garnered the New World Stages Development Prize.
His musical adaptation of Benjamin Button (written with composer Natalie Tenenbaum) has been seen at the York Theatre in Manhattan and the Southwark Playhouse in London.
Brett has also collaborated with playwright Bill C. Davis (Broadway's Mass Appeal ) on Village Rites and with writer/director Michael Loman (Bob Newhart Show and Sesame Street) on Home Sweet Home.
In 2013, Brett co-conceived From Broadway With Love: A Benefit Concert for Sandy Hook, which aired on PBS. Other collaborators on that project include Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll and Hyde), Marc Shaiman (Hairspray), and Stephen Schwartz (Wicked).
